Important Information

Before reserving a room, please note:

Rent: Rent is payable in advance on the agreed rent due date. Late or unpaid rent remains the responsibility of the tenant and, where applicable, their guarantor.
Deposit: No deposit required.
Notice: Tenants must provide notice in accordance with the terms of their tenancy agreement. Rent remains payable until the tenancy has legally ended.
Early termination / changes: Where a tenant requests to leave or amend their tenancy before the agreed end date, this is subject to our agreement and any charges permitted by law. Any applicable costs will be confirmed before the change is agreed.
Check-out: Rooms must be returned empty, reasonably clean and in accordance with the check-out requirements. All keys must be returned on departure.
Damage: Tenants remain responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests beyond fair wear and tear, subject to the tenancy agreement and applicable law.
Lost keys / security devices: Replacement costs may be charged where permitted by law and will reflect the reasonable cost incurred.
Bills: Council tax, gas, electricity, water and Wi-Fi are included, subject to your tenancy terms and any fair-usage provisions.
Cleaning: Communal areas are professionally cleaned fortnightly, but tenants remain responsible for keeping their bedrooms and shared facilities reasonably clean and tidy between visits.
Maintenance: Maintenance issues should be reported promptly through housing@lesleyhomesltd.com. Emergency issues should be reported immediately.
House rules: Our properties are shared homes. Tenants are expected to be considerate of housemates and comply with the property’s rules regarding noise, cleanliness, guests, smoking and waste.
Right to Rent & referencing: All applicants are subject to referencing and the required Right to Rent checks before a tenancy can commence.
Reservation: A room is not secured until the required reservation process has been completed and confirmed by Lesley Homes Lets.
